The Ego of ME
What is this Voice that speaks so LOUDLY,
Puffs out my chest, and smiles so PROUDLY,
Yet fears the advent of Ascension,
And feigns a lack of Comprehension?
What is this logic that defies my heart,
Reason that laughs in the face of Love,
Intellect demanding proof,
Cynicism born of doubt and pain,
That seeks on Life's parade to rain?
EGO, ego, go away ego
I fear you no more,
Love has triumphed,
Barred the door.
