Conflicting Emotions

Thinking back over our chat last night,
I feel conflicting emotions,
Messages hiding the Light.

I am sad that you have chosen another over me,
Yet glad to know the Truth that you also Know...
That WE are ONE, for we have merged, blended heart and soul,
Forever bound, eternally whole.

It's hard to see beyond this 3-D Illusion of separation,
To feel beyond the loneliness of our Long-distance relationship,
Yet, I feel you in my Heartbeat, for you live in Our Heart.
We meet and combine our energy in realms beyond time and space,
But I so long to see your smiling face, and love you in a physical embrace.

If it takes forever, I will wait, for, that seems my fate, anyway,
But please Darling, let's stop saying Never, let's say someday,
Someday, beyond this vale of fear, we will be free to make it REAL,
To Love with Abandon, Joyfully, Finally Free, Our ReUnion to FEEL!

Prayer for a Poet

God of my heart, show me the way,
Give me words for my poems, I pray,
My muse be Love,
My pathway Light,
And always to the world,
May I bring Joy.

In gratitude I offer my gift,
Given of Thee,
Shared, and returned,
Born of life, age,
And lessons learned.

Kingdom of Heaven, Christ within,
Far beyond the veils of sin,
Lead me and guide me on my Path,
Heedless of all worldly wrath,
Ego's fear, and senseless death.

Let me know without a doubt,
Love's pure Joy,
Inner Light,
And Peace without,
Manifested Forever.

So be it. Amen

The Ego of ME

The Ego of ME

What is this Voice that speaks so LOUDLY,
Puffs out my chest,  and smiles so PROUDLY,
Yet fears the advent of Ascension,
And feigns a lack of Comprehension?

What is this logic that defies my heart,
Reason that laughs in the face of Love,
Intellect demanding proof,
Cynicism born of doubt and pain,
That seeks on Life's parade to rain?

EGO, ego, go away ego
I fear you no more,
Love has triumphed,
Barred the door.

Love's Kingdom

Looking back at life from the lofty heights of age,
I see so much strife, such struggle, such rage,
Taken for granted as scriptured page.

Sadness, depression, too much suppression
Wings clipped, wanting to fly, not knowing why,
Normal life schemes, dreams, but a cage.

My restless soul, ego, mind never satisfied,
Religion, God, Church couldn't save me,
Curiosity fevered as I was.

The Internet became my friend, my mentor, my church,
My soul expanded, outgrew the Church,
For a time left traditional Gods in the lurch.

I awakened suddenly when Love found me on the net,
A man called to me, loved me in dreams I can't forget,
Gently led me back to my path of Light,
Gave me my Crown, my Wings, my gift of Flight.

He's my Muse, my mentor, my Twin,
My mirror to find the Kingdom within,
My restless soul finds solace with him,
And we find God in our heart,
No more to be apart.

Stop Talking!

Stop talking!
Oh, foolish tongue
That engages the swollen brain
In Reason's roar--
You flood the shore with words,
Unnecessarily.

Why explain what can only be understood by the Heart?

Your words convey nothing,
Are only idle chatter,
Nervous gestures
Seeking approval.

Let the reader understand,
As souls
Commune in silence.

For the pen tiptoes softly
Across the page,
Lest the Poet wakens
In a rage,
Minds blissfully slumb'ring
In Ego's own Brilliance

I Play with Words

I play with words the way
Potters mold clay and
Artists paint pictures
On a sunny day.

My figures are words,
Each landscape a paragraph,
My sunny day the same,
But seen through my eyes
Differently than by the
Artist who paints what she sees,
The Potter who sculpts
What she feels.

I create what I know,
Using words I've been
Taught by the
Secret thoughts of my
Heart.

I play with words.

Incongruous Pages

Oh, Great Sages!
What incongruous pages!
For I was speaking of Love,
And Love's sacred longings--
An ode to the Goddess of Peace.

Alas!  Came the war
And Peace is no more--
The Rose blooms with
Blood-stained thorns,
Piercing my heavy heart.

Yet-- I have Hope
And Faith will prevail
For Love cannot fail--
And the Sun's shining brightly
On a warm, Spring-like day.

Oh, Great Sages
What an incongruous page!
For on such a lovely day,
The war seems far away,
And it doesn't fit or belong
Where Love sings Sacred Nirvana's Song.
