A year with less fear,
Not so many tears,
Time with less anger,
And feeling less danger?
Will you be free,
To come to me,
Speak to me with honesty,
Tell me how you feel,
And be real?
Will this be our time in the sun,
Coming out of the shadows,
Emerging, as ONE,
Will you let the Truth be known,
And proclaim me as your own?
Will this be our year to dream and plan,
A future together, as woman and man,
Physically living side by side,
Offline with no more reason to hide,
At last HOME with me to abide?
